Bed outlets at 9.6 kW run a site without a generator, and the crew cab carries four.

Most of our business customers are trades who compared a job cost sheet, not a brochure. Fuel, servicing and the generator they were renting every month usually decide it before anybody mentions emissions.

A Byrne Haul 150 Work against a comparable diesel crew cab doing the same work. Lease and finance payments are excluded because they depend on your credit and your term. These are the running lines only.
| Annual line | Byrne Haul 150 Work | Comparable diesel | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Energy or fuel | $811 of electricity at home rates | $2,724 at 19 mpg and $3.45 a gallon | $1,913 saved |
| Scheduled servicing | $240, and years one and two are included | $890, oil, filters and DPF attention | $650 saved |
| Generator rental | None, 9.6 kW of outlets are in the truck | $2,280 at $190 a month | $2,280 saved |
| Depot charging install | Quoted per site, typically $2,400 for two bays | Not applicable | One off cost |
| Annual running difference | $1,051 | $5,894 | $4,843 saved |

Sample figures for demonstration. Electricity at the Austin Energy EV plan overnight rate of $0.1175 per kWh and 46 kWh per 100 miles. Diesel at 19 mpg and $3.45 a gallon. Insurance, tyres and depreciation are excluded because they vary too much between operators to be useful here. Ask Imani for a model built on your own routes and duty cycle.
Almost nobody switches for the badge. They switch because one specific line on the job sheet went away.
Bed outlets at 9.6 kW run a site without a generator, and the crew cab carries four.
Vinyl floors, wipe clean seats and a rubber bed liner as standard on the Work trim.
Sliding doors, a 22 inch load lip and predictable urban routes that suit a smaller pack.
Four wheels, five seats and the lowest running cost on the board for high mileage driving.
Vehicle to load at 3.6 kW runs warmers, lights and a card reader from the car itself.
10,000 lb braked towing on the Haul, with the trailer range penalty quoted before you sign.
Shelving, ladder racks, bulkheads, beacons, ply lining and vinyl wrapping, coordinated with two Austin upfitters we use regularly. Roof loads cost range, so we quote the penalty before the rack goes on.
Two to twelve bays with load management so the site does not need a service upgrade it cannot get. Typical two bay install is around $2,400. Larger sites are surveyed with Austin Energy before anything is priced.
Imani handles the whole fleet, including staggered delivery dates, driver handovers and the pre inspection schedule so vehicles do not all come off lease in the same month.

The common pattern is a single Vale or Haul on a 48 month term, run for six months against the diesel it replaced, then a second and a third once the fuel and generator lines are proven on a real job sheet rather than a spreadsheet.
We would rather do that than sell you five and find out in month four that the duty cycle does not suit. If the routes are wrong for electric, Imani will tell you, and we have told people that before.
If a question you have is not here, call and ask for a lease advisor. Nobody will read you a script.
Yes, from a sole trader with one van to a forty vehicle fleet. The acquisition fee is waived above five vehicles, upfitting is coordinated by Imani, and depot charging is quoted separately after a site survey. See our business leasing page for how the job cost model works.
Take the band that matches what you actually drive, which is usually higher than people guess. Look up your last two Texas state inspections; they record the odometer, so the difference between them is your real annual mileage. Going over costs $0.25 a mile at turn in. Buying miles up front costs $0.16 a mile but is not refunded if you do not use them.
The residual only drops about a point and a half over those three extra months, while the depreciation you are paying gets spread over three more payments. On a Kestra Ridge Ultra the 39 month payment lands roughly $19 a month below the 36. The trade is three more months of commitment and three more months of mileage allowance to use.
Only if the lower payment matters more than the warranty. A 48 month term runs past the four year bumper to bumper cover on most cars, and at 15,000 miles a year you finish at 60,000 miles which is outside it on mileage too. Battery and powertrain cover usually runs to eight years, so the risk is trim and electronics rather than anything expensive.
