Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services.
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and address.
- Details about the service you are requesting, entered in quote, booking or contact forms.
- Technical data such as browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies you allow.
- Records of our communications with you, including calls, emails and messages.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes or appointments.
- Deliver, schedule and follow up on the services you request.
- Send service reminders and, where you have agreed, occasional offers.
- Improve our website and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our business, such as scheduling, payment and email platforms, and only under agreements that require them to protect it. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing at any time. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within 30 days.
Credit applications and consumer reports
When you start a lease application we collect the information needed to assess it, including your name, address history, date of birth, Social Security number, employment and income details, and your driver licence number. With your authorisation we obtain consumer reports from one or more credit reporting agencies.
An initial eligibility check is performed as a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A hard inquiry is only made once you select a specific vehicle and authorise it, and you are told before it happens.
- We share application data only with the lessors and funding banks considering your application.
- We do not sell application data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Declined applications receive a written adverse action notice identifying the reporting agency used.
- Application records are retained for 25 months as required for credit transactions, then destroyed securely.
Vehicle telematics
Leased vehicles may transmit data to the manufacturer, including location, charge state, mileage and fault codes. That relationship is between you and the manufacturer through their own connected services account and their own privacy policy. Current EV Leasing does not receive continuous telematics from personal lease vehicles.
Business and fleet customers may elect to enable fleet telematics. Where they do, the business customer is the controller of that data and is responsible for informing its drivers.
